On August 16th, Mackenze and Nolan celebrated their wedding at the stunning Venue Bella Giornata in Michigan, a day filled with love, romance, and timeless elegance. From the dreamy outdoor ceremony to the chic reception in the Grand Ivory Room, every detail of their day reflected their refined taste and personal style.

The couple chose our Poppy invitation design in luxurious letterpress printing to set the tone for their special day. Styled with a stone envelope liner featuring our elegant Blooms pattern, their invitation suite perfectly complemented their neutral color palette. The simplicity of the stone liner paired with the delicate floral print offered a hint of the understated sophistication that carried through the entire event.

The Wedding Party

Mackenze and Nolan’s wedding party embraced a mix of colors and styles, adding depth and texture to the overall aesthetic. The bridesmaids wore long chiffon gowns in varying shades of champagne, light beige, and black, each showcasing a unique style. The groomsmen matched the elegance, sporting either black or tan suits with black ties. Nolan stood out in a stylish tan suit coat and vest, paired with black pants, a subtle nod to the mix of formality and personal flair that defined the day.

The Bride’s Romantic Look

Mackenze was a vision of romance and elegance in her gown. Featuring a fitted tulle bodice with off-the-shoulder sleeves and a flowing crepe skirt, her dress exuded timeless beauty. The bride completed her look with a pearl-encrusted veil that matched her white satin heels, also trimmed with delicate pearls. The Ceremony

Under a bright August sun, the couple exchanged vows in an outdoor ceremony framed by an arch of greenery and baby's breath. The setting was serene and enchanting, with nature providing the perfect backdrop. Mackenze’s bouquet, along with the bridesmaids’, was a stunning combination of white roses, anemones, baby's breath, and fresh greenery, tied with white ribbon. This floral palette complemented the soft, romantic feel of the ceremony while maintaining the simple, elegant theme.

The Reception at the Grand Ivory Room

Following the ceremony, guests were welcomed into the Grand Ivory Room at Venue Bella Giornata for the reception. The space, a perfect mix of romantic and industrial design, was styled in black and white with fresh white flowers, lush greenery, and gold accents. The modern, minimalist decor allowed the couple’s love and the celebration of their union to take center stage.

In a delightful twist on tradition, Mackenze and Nolan opted for a heart-shaped cake rather than a multi-tiered confection. The cake was accompanied by a decadent dessert table featuring cake pops, towers of mini cupcakes, and a variety of other sweet treats. This charming setup gave their guests plenty of delicious options while adding a playful touch to the sophisticated reception.

A Theme of Simple Elegance

Throughout the day, from the delicate floral details to the neutral tones of the bridal party’s attire, Mackenze and Nolan embraced a theme of simple elegance. The black and white reception décor, accented with fresh greenery and gold, continued this timeless aesthetic.
