Our Modern Luxe wedding invitations are normally shown in a bold royal blue color on our website, so it was quite refreshing to see a recent client change them up and do a pretty pastel purple!  The result is modern, but softer, and we absolutely adore it.

The text and monogram are shown in grape and eggplant purple, while the borders and polka dot patterned envelope liner are shown in amethyst purple.  The mix of light and dark purple hues adds contrast while keeping the invitation suite within the violet color family.

One thing we absolutely love about our Modern Luxe wedding invitation design is the way the borders look when the suite is assembled.  The layered style is really unique and packs a visual punch when your guest open their invitations.

We also thought that this couple's use of the polka dot envelope liner rather than something bolder such as stripes or chevron really went a long way towards creating a purple wedding invitation package that was more on the romantic and whimsical side.
