One thing we take into consideration when designing new wedding invitations is whether the design will stand the test of time.  While your wedding invitations should look fresh and contemporary, it's also important that they still have class decades later.  We hold that idea very dear to our hearts when we create our new collections every year, and we think that our Classic Vintage design, shown below really reflects that ideal.

What creates a truly timeless design is a balance of white space, simple colors and classic typefaces.  We've paired a gothic block font, which has a formal look, with a very classic calligraphy inspired script font.  A lot of white space between the bride and groom's names and the rest of the text creates a focal point.  The simple black and white color scheme keeps things simple and the importance is placed on the event at hand.

Some color can be worked into this wedding invitation design through the use of a colored belly band or envelope liner.  A simple pop of color can really bring in your color theme while keeping the main stationery very classic and timeless.
