Envelope Addressing Services

Envelope addressing and printing options are available for all stationery that includes envelopes. Below is a description of each option, as well as instructions on how to prepare your guest list for ordering.

Available for wedding invitations, save the dates, and thank you cards. An example of a printed invitation envelope is shown below.

Guest addressing is available for save the dates, invitations and thank you cards. Your guest names and addresses will be printed in black ink on the front of the envelopes, using fonts that match your chosen design.

Invitation Envelopes

Return addressing is available for save the dates, invitations and thank you cards. Your name and return address will be printed in black ink on the back flap of the envelopes, using fonts that match your chosen design.

Response Card Envelopes

For response envelopes, your name and address will be printed on the front of the envelope so your guests can easily return their response cards. Printing is done using fonts that match your chosen design.

Ordering Instructions

Select your printing options on the pricing menu during the personalization step. For guest addressing and name printing, your spreadsheet can be uploaded at the time of ordering, or you can email it to us later.

If you plan on submitting your spreadsheet after ordering, please email it to hello@shineweddinginvitations.com and reference the name on your order. If you have already begun the proofing process, you can email it directly to the designer you’re working with.

A correctly formatted spreadsheet is required before we can begin designing your envelopes. See the formatting instructions below for details. Incorrectly formatted spreadsheets will be sent back for correction.

If you have more than 10 address changes after initial proof design, a new spreadsheet will be required and a $25 spreadsheet re-import fee will be charged, so please check your addresses carefully before submission.

We only import one spreadsheet per order.

Setup for Guest Addressing

Start with a clean spreadsheet. Please do not add tabs, extra spaces, or carriage returns within the spreadsheet cells.

Create the following columns: Name, Address, City, State, Zip, and optionally Country.

Enter your guest information exactly as you would like it to appear on your envelopes.

For names or addresses that you would like to have on a second line, use a semi-colon ( ; ) to denote the line break.
